I guess you could call it "Pulling a DeNiro", in honor one of the first actors to immerse himself in a role by immersing himself in Haagen Daaz. Throughout Hollywood recent history, a number of actors have done yo-yo diet job to prepare for a particular film. The latest being Jared Leto, who tubbed up to portray Mark David Chapman, the killer of John Lennon.

With his body metamorphosis, Leto joins the ranks of Christian Bale, Matt Damon, and more recently Daniel Radcliffe to undergo serious physique renovation for their art. His transformation back to his normally skinny freakish self is pretty amazing - the "after" pics were taken only six months later. Methamphetamine, anyone?
